The first time you talk to a prospect or potential partner it's easy to... just talk. You might take some notes, but when you don't follow-up right away, you risk your retention simply eroding away. It's hard enough to absorb all the details, much less capture the patterns and trends. We created the Focus Finder to address this challenge, and we use it on almost all of our 'first points of contact' because if we don't have a record of it, did it even happen?

There are many ways to use the template. We find going clock-wise from upper-left to lower-right is the best approach. Bear in mind that this is simply an outline and you can use it how you see fit. Schedule an hour so you can bookend with an Introduction and close with Next Steps. The activity takes at least a half hour to facilitate.
