We created the Focus Finder to address this challenge, and we use it on almost all of our 'first points of contact' because if we don't have a record of it, did it even happen?
There are many ways to use the template. We find going clock-wise from upper-left to lower-right is the best approach. Bear in mind that this is simply an outline and you can use it how you see fit.
