Miro AI Flow

Instant Prototyping

Get visual clarity fast—go from opportunity to a first prototype in minutes.

Built on Miro’s new AI Flows, Instant Prototyping turns your starting inputs into a User Flow, Screen Requirements, and a Prototype your team can react to immediately. It’s not just speed—it’s speed + direction that helps you align on what and what NOT to build.

Miroverse doesn’t yet support publishing templates that include AI Flows.

How it Works

1. Add Your Opportunity Brief

Paste the way your team frames the work (problem statement, JTBD, PRD slice, service concept—any format is fine).

2. Add Your Research & Click Run

Interviews, surveys, competitive notes, secondary research—drop it in. Light inputs are okay to start. The board first creates Research Insights—a synthesis of your brief + research with an initial point of view on the approach to take.
After Insights generate, Miro automatically creates (in order): User Flow → Screen Requirements → Prototype.

3. Review Research Insights

Scan all generated assets. Ask: What’s right? What’s missing? What needs tweaking? If needed, adjust the Opportunity Brief or add more research, then re-run Insights. You can edit the Research Insights doc directly.

4. Review User Flow

Scan the current Prototype and Screen Requirements, decide what needs to change in the Flow to get the prototype you want. Edit the User Flow directly or tighten upstream inputs/prompts and re-run the User Flow

5. Review Screen Requirements

Again, look at the Prototype and identify which screens/elements/states/navigation need to change to achieve the target result. Edit the Screen Requirements directly or tighten upstream inputs/prompts and Re=Run the Screen Requirements

6. Review Prototype

Focusing on this final version of the prototype, consider what changes still need to be made. Edit the Prototype directly or tighten upstream inputs/prompts and Re=Run the Prototype. And Remember: when the AI is “wrong,” it’s useful—it surfaces gaps and preferences fast, accelerating alignment.

Facilitate the Reviews Your Way

Timers

Set time constraints for focused review sessions to keep your team efficient and on track.

Sticky Notes

Capture feedback and ideas collaboratively with digital sticky notes for easy organization.

Dot Voting

Prioritize features and decisions democratically with simple dot voting mechanisms.

Pro Tips

Backups before re-runs → Duplicate the frame you’re about to regenerate and version-label it (e.g., Flow v1.2).

Branch experiments → Run persona or device variations in parallel and compare side-by-side.

Prompt tuning → Add specifics (mobile-first, WCAG 2.2 AA, transactional tone, “no modal traps”) for sharper outputs.

Treat “wrong” as signal → Use imperfect drafts to clarify what not to build and what research is missing.

Why Instant vs Rapid?

  • First draft > blank page: you react to something visual immediately.

  • Speed + direction: decisions respond to evidence on the canvas, not opinions.

  • Alignment by subtraction: what you don’t want becomes clear quickly.
