Facilitation Lab Portsmouth
Playing with Complexity
With Chad Moore and Devon Skerritt
With the sun staying up, we are all in on play, design, and movement in our next Facilitation Lab. Our guest, the multi-talented Chad Moore, will bring a well-honed blend of creativity, facilitation, and embodied play for learning how to tackle the unavoidable nature of complexity.
This workshop is an embodied, interactive experience mixing the art of movement, a dash of improvisation, and the science of complexity. Participants won't just learn about complexity — they will play with it so that they feel it in their bodies.
Chad will share core exercises for participants to experience first-hand, complete with facilitation guides so that they may adapt/modify these for their own practices. Time permitting, we’ll see what’s on the participants' minds and craft exercises in the moment to explore those areas.

Featured Facilitators
Chad Moore
Chad has spent 25 years at the intersection of creative craft, human behavior, and organizational change. From game studios to behavior change consultancies to giant enterprises, including an online school he co-founded from scratch, the through-line has always been the same: Chad helps creative people and organizations do their most meaningful work — especially when the path forward isn't clear. While building his creative consulting and graphic facilitation practice with Where Light Gathers, Chad's work is rooted in three values:
1. Presence: Being fully awake to this moment, marveling at life's fleeting beauty and complexity.
2. Creation: Making things and experiences with intention, not consuming or managing on autopilot.
3. Enabling: Helping others discover and express their creativity, growth, and authentic potential.
