Billy Lim is a community organizing, engagement, and mobilization professional who, today, works in Developer Relations. His experience includes furnishing flexible leadership over enterprise community initiatives, most often demanding the end-to-end creation, mobilization, and co-designed iterartion of communities representing various modalities (product, brand, client, technical, Champions, issue advocacy, etc.). He attributes his organizing capacity and affinity for community building to his training as a traditional community organizer, teacher, and learning and development leader.

Each role significantly informed his training design and facilitation approach, tailored to diverse constituencies and participant scales and focused on rigor of alignment between learning goals, quality of implementation, and post-training and multi-modal evaluation to measure the degree to which goals were met.

Billy is passionate about the application of co-creative and service design principles and methods in his community work and is always eager to innovate from that multi-disciplinary perspective.
